Wondershare expands popular "software for schools" donation program with additional software titles available

It's official, summer is over and students around the world are heading back to class. Over the summer break, Wondershare sharpened its pencil and is expanding the list of software products it publishes and also the range of schools to help improve teacher & student technology resources in the classroom.

Wondershare launched its Software For Schools donation program last year and to date has donated thousands of copies of its Video Editor movie making software to schools in the US and Canada; and for this school year the list of donation-available software titles has grown to include many of Wondershare's top-selling titles.

For the 2013 - 2014 school year, Wondershare is making the following software titles available for donation to public and private Elementary, Middle/High Schools, Community Colleges, 4-year Universities, and accredited trade schools:

Video Converter Ultimate - The ideal tool for converting videos from just about any digital format to any needed format. Can also download videos from YouTube and other websites. Converted videos can be played on a variety of teaching aids/mobile devices. Available for Win & Mac platforms.

PDF Editor (excluding OCR plug-in) - As more schools turn to online documents to administer tests/quizzes, and classroom curriculum in the PDF format, sometimes it becomes necessary to be able to edit a PDF to correct a mistake or update information. Wondershare PDF Editor easily edits, adds, deletes, and moves text and images directly within a PDF. PDF Editor is available for Win & Mac platforms.

Fantashow - A fun and easy to use movie-making application that is perfect for creating fun little themed (think: Mother's Day, Father's Day, Holiday, class projects) movies to send home to parents on a DVD or as an online movie posted to Facebook, YouTube. Simply select a theme, add photos/video, add titles/narration if desired, and publish. Available for Win & Mac platforms.

QuizCreator - Lets educators administer online tests and quizzes with ease and provides a back-end that allows for the scored results to be emailed back to the student. Works with a variety of test/quiz formats (multiple-choice, true/false, essay answer, etc.). Available for Windows only.

Video Editor - Last school year's donated product is still a hit in classrooms where more advanced video editing and movie making capabilities are desired. Easily combine video clips from a variety of formats with cool titles, effects, and transitions to make a Hollywood-style movie. Burn a DVD or publish to Facebook/YouTube. Available for Win & Mac platforms.
