Samsung Galaxy S5 is the latest Android phone by Samsung which serves as the immediate successor to 2013′s Samsung Galaxy S4. Unveiled on February 24, 2014 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, it is expected to be generally released on April 11, 2014 in 150 countries.

With a 5.1″ 1080p screen, 16 MP camera and 2 GB of RAM, Samsung Galaxy S5 might not be the utmost specs beast that the Android world has to offer, but it comes with plenty of new features, both in comparison with its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S4.

After you get Samsung Galaxy S5, you may delete your files such as videos, photos shot with your phone or contacts and messages stored on your phone by accident, just like its predecessors like Samsung Galaxy S4/S3.

This may be the Samsung Galaxy Alpha

Samsung may unveil its next Galaxy smartphone as early as next week, according to Sam Mobile, a blog with a strong track record when it comes to leaking Samsung product releases.

Samsung's metal Galaxy phone is probably coming next week

The Galaxy Alpha, which is rumored to feature a semi-metal design and a smaller screen than the Galaxy S5, could debut on August 4.

The leak comes just after Sam Mobile published a handful of photosclaiming to show the device alongside a Galaxy S5.

Although the Galaxy Alpha's metal edges may make it seem more premium, it probably won't be a high-end device like the S5.

Judging by the hardware that's been leaked in recent reports, it seems to fall into the mid-range space. We haven't heard any rumors about how much it will cost just yet.

For months, rumors have pointed to a metal Galaxy phone, but previous leaks said the phone would feature an all-metal back.

The phone shown in Sam Mobile's photos has the same faux-leather back we've seen on Samsung's recent phones, but with a metal lining.

As a brand new way to embed video in a webpage, HTML5 is the future of online video. You see, with HTML5, there is no need to install any plug-in (e.g. an embedded Flash player) to play a video, just because HTML5 video player, the best replacement to Flash player, means built-in video streaming support.

Currently you can watch HTML5 videos everywhere. For example, YouTube, the most popular video-sharing platform, has offered an opt-in trial of HTML5 video, and now you can even watch every video on YouTube with HTML5 player. For you, it is also possible to share your videos in the HTML5 video format, even to embed a native video into your blog without any annoying plug-in. Of course, before embedding or sharing a video, you need to convert your video to HTML5 formats, such as WebM, H.264 or Ogg Theora.

The conversion between these may be a little tricky, but with the 3 tools mentioned below, quality HTML5 videos can be created in several minutes.

Miro Video Converter
Miro Video Converter allows you to convert almost any video to MP4, WebM or Ogg Theora. Once having downloaded it and completed the installation process, you can make the best of it to convert AVI, MOV, FLV, MKV, and other common video formats to MP4, WebM or Ogg. Miro Video Converter enables you to convert videos in batch.

Three ways to convert videos to HTML5

As a free and open-source tool, it is compatible with Windows, Mac, and other mobile devices, including Samsung Galaxy Ace, Samsung Galaxy Note II, HTC One X, iPod Touch, iPhone 5, Kindle Fire, etc.

Easy HTML5 Video
Easy HTML5 Video can help you convert videos to HTML5 video in only 3 steps.

Three ways to convert videos to HTML5

The conversion process with Easy HTML5 Video is very simple: Drag-n-drop any video file to its blank window, then specify settings for your HTML5 video, and click on the Start button at last to start the conversion.

By the way, Easy Html5 Video is free for non-commercial use so feel free to download it now.

HandBrake
HandBrake is a video converter program for encoding H.264 video. Compared to Micro Video Converter or Easy HTML5 Video, I have to say the interface of HandBrake is a little more complicated, but it offers the easiest way to encode H.264 video. Once you have gotten MP4 (which is encoded in H.264) video files, the next job you need to do is create Ogg and WebM versions with Micro Video Converter or Easy HTML5 Video.

Three ways to convert videos to HTML5

It is fully compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux.

Conclusion
There are many programs that claim to convert various formats of video into other video formats. The 3 above are just I want to shared with you and I hope they can help you get interested in HTML5 video.

Do you know about any other tool that can convert video to HTML5 supported Ogg, WebM or MP4 formats?

It’s official: we have reached the peak of phablet insanity. Samsung on Friday unveiled the latest addition to its phablet lineup. While the device officially falls under Samsung’s “Tab” product family of tablets, you’ll notice that the Galaxy Tab Q is not like normal tablets. Instead, it includes an ear speaker and a microphone, and it supports voice calling. In other words, Samsung expects you to hold this gigantic beast of a tablet up to your face to make phone calls.

Please. We beg you. Don’t.

Galaxy Tab Q specs include a 7-inch display with only 720p resolution, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, microSDXC support up to 64GB and a 3,200 mAh battery. And thankfully, it’s only available in China right now, with plans to bring this monstrosity to the United States having been announced.

Chinese maker Xiaomi has unveiled its new flagship Android smartphone. Dubbed Mi 4, it is described by the company's Global VP Hugo Barra as the "fastest & most gorgeous Mi Phone ever".

Mi 4 comes with hardware specifications that are typical of an Android flagship announced in 2014. It packs a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1080 by 1920, and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor. Pretty standard stuff, except for the price.

Xiaomi announces Mi 4 flagship smartphone

According to Barra, Mi 4 will cost roughly $320 for the 16 GB version and $400 for the 64 GB model. Similar handsets from fellow vendors Google (Nexus 5) and OnePlus (One) command about the same prices.

Here is what else you need to know about Mi 4. Its display has a color gamut covering 84 percent of the NTSC range. The processor is backed by 3 GB of RAM and a 3,080 mAh battery, the latter of which can quick charge at 9 V and 1.2 A or 5 V and 2 A.

The main, 13 MP camera (a Sony IMX214, for the curious among you) has an unusually-large aperture of f/1.8, offers real-time HDR, and can record video in 4K. The secondary camera has the same aperture, but has only an 8 MP sensor, albeit with a wide-angle lens on top that can cover 80 degrees (a Sony IMX219 unit).

The back plate can be swapped for a different version (there are 12 in total, per Barra's posted photos). Mi 4 comes with UMTS (maximum speeds can be achieved on HSPA+ networks) and TDD-LTE cellular connectivity, with FDD-LTE availability to be announced later down the road. Customers can opt for a $16 insurance policy, which covers screen and water accidents.

There is no word yet on the date of launch or the version of Android Mi 4 runs.
