Unforunately, unless you have an Apple device, you won’t be able to watch the live stream. So if you’re planning on making the iPhone 6 your first iDevice, keep checking back here for all the latest updates during the live event.

If you DO own an Apple device, however, you can watch the live stream here.

iPhone 6 Details

Alleged pictures and details about the iPhone 6 have been circulating the internet since the release of the company’s latest release, the iPhone 5S, in Sept. 2013.

Here’s what has been confirmed:

Apple announced two iPhone 6 phones, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus. They are the rumored sizes — 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches. The phones are also thinner than any other iPhone. They have retina display and have a one-handed feature for easier use.

The processor performance is 50 times faster than the original iPhone, and the iPhone 6 Plus will play games in higher resolution than next generation consoles! (Take that PS4 and XBox One!)

The iPhone 6 will have equal or better battery life than the iPhone 5s. The new model will also have a barometer feature, in which it senses air pressure to measure relative elevation.

As for camera specs, the new iPhones will possess a 8MP iSight camera, True Tone flash, f/2.2 aperture, all-new sensor, and “focus pixels.” Plus, panoramas can be bigger with the iPhone 6.

The iPhone 6 will be available on Sept. 19th, but you can pre-order it on Sept. 12. The prices are not too expensive — 16GB is $199, 64GB is $299, and 128GB is $399 with a 2-year contract.

Apple also announced “Apple pay,” which will replace physical payments using your debit or credit cards. Apple Pay will work with three major payment networks: American Express, MasterCard, and Visa. A slew of retailers will be accepting Apple Pay. More will likely follow as time goes on.

Apple says “security and privacy” are at the core of this new feature. They also state they will have no access to what you buy and how much it is. Additionally, there will be no need to cancel your credit cards if your phone is stolen, just simply suspend payments.

Apple Watch Details

“Apple Watch is the most personal device we’ve ever created. It’s also a comprehensive health and fitness device,” the company said on Sept. 9.

Instead of pinching the screen to zoom in or out, the key to controlling the watch is the dial on the side. It has a built-in gyroscope, a heart rate sensor, and a Taptic Engine for input sensing.

Interestingly, you can tap to get the attention of someone else with an Apple Watch and send them drawings, voice messages, and more.

The Apple Watch starts at $349 and will not be available until 2015.

As the event unfolds, we’ll be updating the details, so keep coming back!
