"I am wondering if it's possible to recover a lost recording from a Samsung Galaxy S2? I was recording something important with voice recorder and it went for 3 hours and then all of a sudden the phone died and i lost everything. I was told that i could have recovered it if it was on an SD card using Recuva but it was on the phones inbuilt memory.Does anyone know how to recover a portion or all of the recording? Step by step to recover deleted files from Samsung Galaxy S2

Connect your Samsung Galaxy S2 to the computer with a USB cable. Then run the program to get the following interface:

Then you need to enable USB debugging before scanning your device. There are three options for you to follow. Choose the right Android OS vesion for your phone, and follow the instructions below to set it.

1) For Android 2.3 or earlier: Enter "Settings" < Click "Applications" < Click "Development" < Check "USB debugging"

When your device is connected and detected by the program, click the "Start" button in the screen below to start analyzing it. Before doing this, make sure that your phone battery is more than 20% charged, so that you can get a smooth scan.

After the analyzing, you need to turn to your device's homescreen to click "Allow", so that the scan can be started. Then click "Start" to scan your device now.
