Once the software is installed, you get four options – Lost file recovery, Partition recovery, RAW file recovery and resume recovery. In our review, the software performs well and was able to recover the files.

You can select Lost file recovery option then you can select the drive or path in which you want to search for deleted files. Once you select the path, the Wondershare Data recovery will show the files which can be recovered. The files are organized category wise. You can also preview the files before recovering it.

Data Recovery software also shows the condition of deleted files. If the condition of file is Good then it can be recovered very easily and if the condition is bad then there might be some issues in recovering file. If your deleted file is not listed in the search result then you can select deep scan option while selecting the path.

In our review, Wondershare Data recovery was able to recover most of the files. It was able to detect very old deleted files as well. It also allows you save the search results so that you don’t have search again for deleted files. Many deleted images, Videos and Documents are easily recovered by the software.

It also allows you to recover files via Raw file recovery option. If you select this option, the file name and path will not be displayed but probability of recovering of deleted file will increase.

So overall the Wondershare Data recovery is a good tool for recovering file from your Windows PC or Mac. The free version allows to recover the files upto 100MB while the paid version allows to recover all files without restrictions.
